After much thought and consideration I have come to draw a few simple conclusions about the kind of people I want to be friends with, both in offline reality and online. I have been burned in the past, and whilst I have moved on, and have grown from such experiences... I'd like to try and avoid such heartache in future if at all possible.
I'm sorry, but I will not add you to my journal unless you fall under one of the following three prerequisites:
- We are friends offline, or I know you in one way or another in the physical realm. That being said, if you are a part of my past, and are just here to harass me, or drag up dirt on me, please leave. I only accept genuine offers of friendship.
- You are a Final Fantasy fan. I don't care which Final Fantasy, because I love them all. Though I obviously have a massive soft spot for FFVIII, FFVII and FFX/X-2!
- You are an honest, open and trustworthy human being. I sometimes find it hard to be honest and open with myself at the best of times... I know it can be hard, but I feel no lasting friendship can be built without these.
I'm no elitist snob. In fact, I don't have a very high opinion of myself at all. I am who I am, always have been, always will be. I'm not changing for anyone, or anything. I'm both highly fangirly and serious, boring and excitable. I talk frequently about my fandoms, but also a lot about my family, friends and my relationship. If you can't deal with any of these, then please, don't waste my time.
